Aloha is at its best straight out of the fridge, as a delicious, inviting chilled shot to be enjoyed as a way of getting an evening going, or for a great night reloaded. Drink it chilled and savour both the tropical flavour of fresh pineapple and the delicate kick of fresh ginger and fresh scotch-bonnet chilli.
Grab Aloha ’65 straight out of the fridge. Next, assemble as many shot glasses as you have ’65ers.
The Short perfectly encapsulates Aloha ‘65’s summer vibes. Rum, the taste of the Caribbean, combines with Aloha ‘65’s fruity Florida flavours and pineapple juice enhances the taste of fresh pineapple infused in every bottle. Grab your crew, a cocktail-shaker or two, put on your favourite tunes and make it summer all-year round with this fruity classic.
In a shaker, put plenty of ice, several mint leaves and:
25ml of Aloha ’65 25ml Cointreau 15ml Golden Rum 50ml Pineapple Juice Three drops of Angostura bitters
Aloha ‘65 was born out of The Idle Lord’s commitment to getting the party started, and nothing makes a party like some refreshing long-drinks. In The Long, ginger ale brings out the taste of the fresh ginger in every bottle of Aloha ‘65 and freshly-grated nutmeg gives this drink the sort of lift you only get from a perfectly-nuanced balance of spices and flavours.
Fill a tall glass with ice. Pour in 50ml of Aloha ’65 and top with ginger ale. Squeeze in a lime wedge a grate a little nutmeg on top.
